You know, I think we all carry around these little pockets of insecurity—it’s part of being human. One thing that’s helped me is to get curious about where those feelings come from. Is it a past comment that stuck? A comparison you keep making? Sometimes just naming it takes away some of its power. Try this: when that insecure voice pipes up, ask yourself, “Would I talk to my best friend this way?” We’re often so much kinder to others than we are to ourselves. And instead of fighting the feeling, try letting it hang out for a bit without letting it run the show.
